Brittanie Queen

Hello!

My name is Brittanie Queen. This is my third teaching; however, I have been working in the school system since 2017. I began as a PCA for a year before leaving to work at Youth Villages. I returned to DCS in 2019 as a Special Education assistant. I began to feel the call to teach and decided to return to school in 2021. 

I graduated from Hernando High School in 2012 and went on to have Freed-Hardeman University. I graduated from Freed-Hardeman University in 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Science in Psychology. In January 2021, I began working towards a Master of Arts in Teaching at Belhaven University and graduated in April of 2023.

I have a beautiful daughter, Samantha Grace. She is a second grader at DCP. I adopted her in July of 2022, just before school started, which we worked towards for about a year.
